Buying Painting

Buying musical Themed Paintings is a fun recently my musician friend set up a new home I wanted to gift her good painting. I bought a painting by Osnat. It was in five parts and when hung on the wall it was huge and looked so good. It had musical notes painted, the color was all yellow, and orange the favorite colors of my friend.

Once I saw the painting of guitar and picked it up for my friend and he liked it so much that he went ahead and bought another painting from the same artist.

The painting called “Music of Fire” which did not have anything musical in it but when I showed it to my friend, she said that it looks as if the flames are dancing. It was amazing how different people see the painting in different light. She told me that I have very narrow vision and should be more broad minded.

The artist Slazo has many guitar paintings and he displays at lots of exhibitions held in Florida. The other friend wanted painting of an Armenian painter named Aram Koupetzian. I found one called Rondo. It was a looker and I was not be able to take my eyes of it.

A good friend graduated with music as his major and I gave him a musical themed painting he was so thrilled in getting that painting. The one I chose was by Tilo Rothacker that had a trumpet played by the Jazz musician.

My brother is a good violinist, he moved and bought himself a house in New York, and I bought him a painting of a woman violinist.

I was searching for a musical themed painting the one I found was Melody of Sunset in this the woman was playing a piano but somehow I did not like it and did not buy it.

There is a painting, which is full with musical instruments, and it feels like a party. This painting whenever I look at it makes me smile. The painter is Sarah Kinan.

All favour the paintings depicting sunsets and sunrises. If you are in the business of acquiring paintings for your clients, you will never go wrong with these paintings.

The orange color prominent in these paintings is loved by most of the clients and if you know the choice of your clients and they love to have the sunsets and sunrises at home and display it in a prominent place.

The best way is to find out the clients preference, and you can scout around. Mainly the seaside with a sunset is always a winner.  The artists like Robyn Joy have a collection of these paintings and they are priced at a reasonably lower rate. In addition, they are excellent with the blue and orange so beautiful. They appeal to the eye instantly.

If you want to buy a painting for a marrying couple and they want the orange color you have to plan well in advance to that they can get it before their wedding day or on the wedding day.

You can also pick up oil paintings in orange color, the paintings can be theme based in the sense if you are working for a shoe company and need to decorate your office there is one with an orange sneakers, which will be loved by the person.

The paintings always seem different to different people and the abstract will be interesting to show to different people and get their reactions. The orange color is so vibrant that it brings life to any home.

The artist Aileen has beautiful painting, which aptly named “Sunset Palm” which is an acrylic painting on wood. It is very beautiful art.

The folk art has many colors and one with the painting of three cats is a beautiful present for cat lovers.

The art in any form is a point for conversation and if it is a painting of sunset or sunrise then people will definitely discuss the vibrant colors, the scenery and the artist’s hand.
The paintings can have a serene look, some paintings have a mysterious look, and some have poetry in it. Any, which way the paintings are a way of life to some. Usually the art depicts the minds of the painter.

Pop art was developed in United States some time in 1950’s and it was in reaction to the abstract culture. Buying folk art paintings has become a passion of mine.  I have been looking for them everywhere it seems.  I found a bunch of folk art paintings recently and I am having trouble deciding which one to buy.

There is an enamel painting named Howard in 1944 by Rev. Howard Finster and was painted in 1988. The painters smile is so infectious that any person looking at it will smile back.

The other one of my favorite folk art is First Trolley to Van Nuys by a painter named Bill Dodge who painted in 1962. The painting is so beautiful it just shows the people in the window and the town bakery, town market, Hotel Van Nuys, an ice cream parlor, and all are painted in bright colors. There are women in the foreground are leaning towards the Trolley and their sign says, “Ban the Monster and “Keep Van Nuys Rural”.

The one I found was named Alligator Fisher, which was painted in 1940. It has the background of blue sea and the green trees, which is very serene. That one I really liked.
One of the good artists of America in Folk paintings is Thomas Chambers and usually his subject is fishing boats and villagers.

My mother has a strong passion folk art and I inherited from her. She had a painting by john Roeder that I grew up staring at. It was so soothing and relaxing that I used to spend hours in front of it. It is still my mother’s prized possession.

A Letter from my mother was a painting which when looked at it always makes me sad. In the painting, there is a girl’s face, which is so sad and serious. I do not know why but whenever I look at it, it always makes me sad.

There is a lot of folk art paintings, which I do not understand and hence do not purchase, but for my friends if I find a good one I invest in it.

My brother just loves animals so wherever I see the animal painting I think of him and purchase for him most of the times he likes it as he trusts me completely but the taboo is the Owl as from the childhood he is scared of them and they totally freak him out.
